Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Newport Beach People Search does not retain its own copy of those searches. If you send a message, we receive the details you decide to provide and use them to answer you.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Ordinary server logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the site and shows which guides are useful. Cookies or related technology may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Data Is Used
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to city, county, state, court, library, and other outside services. Information submitted on those sites is controlled by their policies, not this one. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors can process logs for the site. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic technical data described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, visitor information is not shared.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes stated here. Because this site has no visitor accounts, it stores no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe someone under 18 submitted such information so it can be removed.
Your California Privacy Choices
California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information under applicable law. California Civil Code title 1.81.48 separately regulates data brokers and the state's deletion mechanism. Because this site holds little visitor data, a request will usually involve checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records held by Newport Beach, Orange County, California agencies, or courts remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian.
Policy Revisions
A revised policy will be posted here. By continuing to use the site after an update, you accept the new version.
